Location: Tamarindo is located on Costa Rica’s Pacific Coast in Guanacaste Province. The area is famous for its waves but is also well known for its numerous national parks, majestic volcanoes, teeming wild life, sports fishing, and lots of adventure sports. Tamarindo is the best option if you are looking for a natural spot to spend your vacation!! Tamarindo is about 260 km from the Costa Rica’s capital San Jose. You can travel to Tamarindo from San Jose either by air (40 min) or by car (4-5 hours).
